| Ziele |
(*)To present the dissertation topic and the work plan to the Dissertation Committee in the first semester.

(*)Oral and written public presentation to the Dissertation Committee in the first semester.
The candidate has to forward the presentation and a written assessment by the Dissertation Committee to the Dean of Studies at the Medical Faculty of the JKU.

| Beurteilungskriterien |
(*)Attendance of 80% is mandatory. It is not possible to achieve a positive grade if requirements concerning attendance cannot be fulfilled.
Presentation of dissertation topic and work plan before the Dissertation Committee. The meeting shall be convened by the doctoral candidate.
The presentation is only valid with the detailed comments and signatures of all members of the dissertation committee.
For a positive completion, the written report has to be submitted to the Office of the Dean of Studies of the Medical Faculty. The positive result shall be described as "successful participation", the negative result shall be described as "unsuccessful participation".
