Detailed information |
Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme Technical Physics 2020W |
Objectives |
The lecture will give an overview over particular properties of matter at the nanoscale, and introduces important fabrication as well as analytic methods.
|
Subject |
Where are nanomaterials encountered (metals, semoconductors, composite materials, biological materials) and what makes their particular properties
How are nanomaterials fabricated (bottom-up growth, top-down structuring)
Which methods can determine nanomaterial’s properties (div. microscopy techniques, scanning probe techniques, scattering methods, “indirect” methods sucha as luminescence or Raman scattering)
