Objectives Students have competent knowledge of current scientific literature in selected topics of the subject "Production and Logistics". They can summarize and present scientific literature within a teamwork procedure. They have basic knowledge of selected software systems, modeling language and solution techniques for decision support in production, logistics and supply chain management. They are able to deal with planning situations using appropriate software tools and interpret the results.
Subject After an introduction in scientific writing (proper citing, sources of literature, plagiarism) and in basics of presentation, students work (partially in small teams) to prepare a specific topic in the field of produduction oder logistics management or supply chain management. On this basis, completed by current articles in scientific journals, students write a seminar paper and hold a presentation.
