Ziele (*)Introduction to organic semiconductors with strong relation to current technological developments in the sector organic electronics and organic optoelectronics.
Lehrinhalte (*)Fundamental concepts in organic semiconductors and carbon-based semiconductors. Discussion of differences between inorganic and organic semiconductors. Physical and chemical properties. Transport phenomena, doping and optic, magnetic and electronic properties. Applications of organic semiconductors in organic field-effect transistors, light-emitting diodes and organic photovoltaic cells as well as recent developments in catalysis.
Beurteilungskriterien (*)Interactive elements included in evaluation. Oral examination in front of participants.
